1967 Book Recomendation and speaker - dash pad removal

I'm a fairly new owner and member of a 67 convertible. I've bought via NCRS the Chassis Service Manual and the Shop Manual. I need to know how to remove the speaker cover, door panels and other items and these books don't cover much interior. Can y'all suggest what else to order? ALSO .. Need to remove the speaker cover and don't have any idea how... Following that I need to remove the cluster and panel to have all of it reworked ... Thoughts and ideas needed!! Thanks in advance ... Welcome to NCRS Mark. Since I do not have a 67 will let others offer methods to take panels off.
However as for the speaker its secured from the underside so with dash removed & perhaps glove box you will be able to un bolt. (also see threads below)
As for the Dash Cluster do a search since past discussions have many ideas and tricks to make life much easier.
I do recommend removal of seat and steering column, then label label label those wires (take a few pictures)
Just take your time!

if you have done so, you should also purchase an Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM).

Do some careful searches on dash removal etc. I don't know where they are, but I do recall seeing some good information about dash removal, particularly the gauge cluster.

PS I use long screws which are coated
mid year dash install

There are some wonderful resources throughout this thread. I could have used them a while back. I didn't take my seat out though, and that would have certainly helped with ease of access. One additional resource that has some good illustrations, is the 1967 Chassis Service Manual, not to be confused with the Chassis Overhaul manual. It was originally published by Helm Inc. for GM. I'm pretty sure you can get both through the online store. The Chassis Service Manual has a section on the Corvette body. You would think that the Fisher Body Manual for 1967 would have Corvette body information, but to the best of my recollection, it doesn't. It does have frame information along with some information that was consistent throughout Chevrolet models. The resources mentioned in earlier posts are very detailed and have wonderful pictures. The Chassis Service Manual along with the AIM should give reasonable additional information as well as information concerning the door panels.

If you don't already have them, the "Corvette Restoration & Technical Guide" (Noland Adams) and "Fact Book of the 1963-1967 Stingray" (9th Edition, M.F. Dobbins) will be very helpful information resources for all aspects of your car. Same for the 1967 NCRS Judging Guide, which should have a new updated edition published soon. I would also recommend "Corvette by the Numbers" (Alan Colvin).

That's because Fisher Body had ZERO involvement with the Corvette program, just like Chevrolet trucks; all Corvette and truck body design and development was done in-house at Chevrolet.
