A ZO6 sold at auction (very poor advertising) in Southern Indiana last summer for around $50,000.
It was what I would call a basket case but including some of the important parts.
It went to northern Ohio and I believe it is now being restored by Nabors in Texas.

. .....the most interesting piece, a nos 36 gal tank FIBERGLASS drain trough(it would have been bonded to the underside of the rear top surround) went for 5 bucks. it still had the gm part # ink stamped on it. i didn't buy it because the fiberglass was "translucent" and i knew my pair of tankers troughs where not translucent. a buddy got it for the price of 2 6 packs of the best. It was one of the best corvette auctions i've attended. mike

A shot of the "drain" a.k.a. "pie-plate" that's on my early '65. Sounds much more romantic than "housing asm.", the term used in the AIM.

Michael,

Don't think so, but could be wrong. The basket case Bruce mentioned wasn't much more than partial body, but most of the Z06 parts were there. Don't remember it being associated with Dick Lang.

i hear ya guys. there is a rumor that ohio has produced more 400 air 67s then the factory.

Don't think so, but could be wrong. The basket case Bruce mentioned wasn't much more than partial body, but most of the Z06 parts were there. Don't remember it being associated with Dick Lang.

Terry bought the Dick Lange car in ohio near springfield.
