Is it possible to find the exact number of '74 Big Block Convertibles"1z67z45" If we can get records of deliveries to dealers there must be a vin list somewhere, no?

Any record of car colors??? How many yellow?

Very elusive numbers. No official records. I extrapolated the numbers several years ago when we were hunting a big block,convertible with 4 speed. Came to the conclusion that there were approximately 300 built. At that time Corvette Mike told me he had never had one to sell. Found the car we wanted, 4,000 mile that had not been on the road for 20 years, sadly it has not been on the road for over 30 years, sitting in the same spot.

There is no record of the number of cars with any COMBINATION of options for at least any 1953-82 Corvette. This question gets asked about as often as any question and the answer is always the same. I expect it will always be that way because I don't think that any such records were ever generated, let alone survived. In the "digital age" such data would be a "piece of cake" but the "digital age" hadn't even been thought of in the early 70's.

It's two model years earlier, but there's that extensive 1972 option numbers list in the '53-'72 NCRS Pocket Spec Guide, and this might give some ballpark idea, proportioning to 1974 production.

Out of 26977 cars, 3089 coupes and 824 convertibles had the LS5 engine.
Out of 26977 cars, 1090 coupes and 453 convertibles were painted Sunflower yellow.

Yellow big block convertibles have to be a miniscule quantity.

BTW, can someone tell me the door tag mfg info on their 74 BB convertible?.....I need to get one made for my car..........

i know of one in our town.'74 conv originally blue painted black with 4 speed.
