Found this 1950's movie Drag Strip Riot. About a Corvette club and the trouble they get into. Dont know how to post it but its on U tube. A lot of early C1 action. A little corny at times but good.

Hi Walter,
Thanks for the heads up.
I looked at the first few minutes of it and will HAVE to go back to it.
I liked the 2 tone paint job on one of the cars; a darker color on the hood/trunk lid and from the side trim down.
Also, in the credits someone is listed for CUSTOM HAIRSTYLES!!!

Hah! Like Alan, I watched only the first few minutes. I had to bow out when they began to SING on the beach.

A bit before my time, however, safe to say - we WERE a different people then, no?

Thanks for posting the movie, I haven't seen this one before.
I really enjoy the 50's hot rod/teenager genre of films.
It's interesting to see the different actors just starting out or performing early in their career's before becoming famous (or notorious). "Dragstrip Girl" is another good one from 1957 with quite a few soon to be famous actors in it.

20 minutes in and the hood is up on the 2X4 Corvette. 22 minutes in and the paddock and road race.
