I conducted a complete judging, including Ops., of my newly aquired 90, L-98, Silver Blue, Convertible. So far I have found an honest 92 judging deduct points. The big hit is the tires, all except the spare(20 Pts) and the head lamps (16 Pts) I found the C/D did not operate(7Pts) so I am looking for a local shop, in So. Cal. to repair same. I had an experience in removing one from a 90 ZR-1, for repair. I swore at that time, that I would never try that again. It was like trying to play a piano with boxing gloves. I need a 90 air filter, bearing " ACSPARKPLUGS A1097C", used or new, and a source for the headlights " GUIDE HALOGEN-2B1-SEALED BEAM". I have a lot of time since my first judging event will be in April 2013, at a local chapter meet. We are lucky to have three Ca. Chapters. Then on to Tahoe for a PV. Next to a Regional and a try for my first 97, most likly the Loveland, Co. Regional. Then to Overland Park, Kansas National in 2014. The car is completly original except for the items listed above, and of course, the battery, you've got to love those Freedom Batteries. It is a lot of fun preparing another Corvette to pass through the NCRS system. This will be my first try at a McLellan. It's on my bucket list to have all three, an NCRS hat trick. Onward and upward.

Re: Ncrs hat trick
Check this months Driveline, it is listed there, also in Hemmings. My wife was not too happy with my latest purchased, but I could not turn it down, 13 years in storage. 90% original, and the paint is fantastic. wHATS A HOCKEY LOOK LIKELast edited by Ed H.; November 9, 2012, 10:09 AM.- Top
