1990 Bose c/d became prince of darkness

I need the name and/or web cite, of a repair shop in the So. Cal area that can R/R, and repair my c/d unit in my 90 super delux (RPO UIF/UXO). It went dark. Maybe Lucas had something to do with the parts inside.

Take it out and send it off to the Corvette BOSE experts at Factory Car Stereo in Florida. They are the best and will repair your unit while not trying to SELL you an upgrade unit. Their repair costs are very reasonable.

Also Dr. Don's in Texas is very reasonable, and many on the Corvetteforum have used him with great results. 936-435-1811

Another vote for Dr. Don. He did my 63 AM/FM quickly and without disturbing original date stamps and paper I.D. Tags. Quick turnaround and competitive pricing as well.

I had Factory Car Stereo just rebuild my entire system, works like new now. They did a great job and was very quick.

Does anyone know of a repair location, in southern california so i do not have to remove it myself. I have old, bad hands.

Its pretty easy to take out your C4 BOSE radio. FCS's web site even gives you a removal guide with photos. Its about a 20-30 minute job to get it out. No big deal.
