Tube from STV leading up to the compressor on 1966 AC

On a 66 AC, what does the correct tube look like that mounts on the STV and attaches with a hose to the compressor? 90 deg bend or sweeping bend? AIM shows it as 3842972

Jeremy -- can't vouch for a '66, but on my early '65, this elbow/tube (same part # in '65 AIM as you show) is a long sweeping bend of (say) 120 degrees total.

This is up on Ebay. I don't know if the picture helps or not.

The sweeping elbow is correct. Not the sharp 90 degree elbow.

Page, I know AC C2's are rare but do you have a picture of the sweeping elbo? If I can get to my 63 with AC I"ll post a picture of that part.

          Cheers

Here is a picture of a 65 - very hard to photograph. Don H.

Curved sounds good, since that is what I have, albeit a little bent. I'm going to try to remove the kink, but if unsuccessful I would purchase a new one. All the ones I found (probably the same one) are 90 degrees like the one shown on the ebay link above, so it got me thinking which one is right. Enough little things have been changed on the car over the last 4 decades that I wasn't sure if this was one of the changed items or not.
