    Changing Dash Bulbs on 67

I need to replace the bulbs in my 67 Dash Cluster. Everything else is fine and everything works fine. Can I just pull the dash cluster out a bit to replace the bulbs?

I don't want or plan to pull the column out. How far can I pull the cluster forward on long threaded rods in place of the 5 dash mounting screws?

Will I be able to get to the bulbs?

    Thanks All!

Yes you can but you'll have to drop the column down but not out. Get five 4" or 5" long 1/4-20 bolts that will help support the cluster as your reaching behind it change the bulbs.

Some you can change without pulling the cluster. I replaced my speedometer bulb but it was not easy.

You can also support the cluster by resting it on a stack of wooden blocks. However, I've even changed the headlight warning bulb without removing the cluster...patience, patience.
