What ballast resistor for a 55 V8?

The 1955 Corvette parts book does not list the ballast resistor for some reason. What GM part number and what ohm resistor is correct for this application?

GM #1931385. The spec I have is 0.3 OHMS.

One thing to keep in mind: The GM #1931385 was available in SERVICE for a LOT of years----from 1955 until August, 1999. Functionally, any 1931385 should work for the application. However, as far as configuration goes, there may very well have been differences over those 44 years.
