Radio Console and .....?

I've removed the Radio Console in my '68...Also the assembly above it...(Don't know what's it's called...) I'm redoing the interior, and these parts are not in bad shape by any measure, but I'm still thinking of stripping and giving them a fresh coat of paint. On the Shift Plate I used SEM Satin Black with great results. These pieces have more of a "Gloss" to them.

Any suggestions on which paint to use?

I'd continue with the SEM, as all the black painted pieces should match.

Hi Sal,

Makes sense. That said, why do so many people love the SEM Satin? Why not that, with a coat of Clear, or straight Gloss? Just thinking out loud..I had asked, and most were in love with the Satin. Looking at these pieces, they're at the very least, Semi Glos. I could hit the Plate I've already done with Clear, or one coat of Gloss.
