As many of you know the Embassy Suites host hotel, is already sold out of rooms. Due to this early sell out several other hotels within close proximity to the Convention Center will open for bookings on Monday, October 29, 2012.

Should you encounter any problems making a room reservation at any of the hotels listed above for the National Convention, please send an email to dravenberg@triad.rr.com.

Members who still wish to stay at the Embassy Suites should periodically check to see if any rooms become available, as cancellations will invariably occur. To do so, follow this link to their web site or call them directly at 757-827-8200 and ask for “In-House Reservations” from 8am to 5pm (EST), Monday through Friday, using the room block name of “CRS” or mention “Corvette Restorers Society”. If any rooms become available they will be able to assist you.

And that is a long time from now for it to be sold out already, must be something else going on around there.

Nothing else going on. Block of rooms reserved by NCRS were sold out in THREE DAYS, as anticipation is this will be a BIG event. NCRS has the ENTIRE Convention Center reserved, and you walk from the hotel to the Convention Center all inside.

Not really. We have far more members on the East side of the country than the West side.
Conventions out east always outsell those out west. Always have, always will.
