Can someone tell me the differance of an original and reproduction silk screen with the air cleaner? Thanks much.

Can't say anything about repro tripower silkscreens, but here's my original off a late '69. I was overly zealous and removed some of the text towards the center.
It's almost like the lettering/lines/circles were applied with a microfine tube of black toothpaste (poor example) and you can see (and feel) the round raised imprint.

Those are all characteristics of a silk screen application.Terry- Top

Common big box reproductions - to get to the question at hand - are dot matrix printed and much thinner, you can see the difference with a low power mag glass and I posted some of those pictures last year.- Top
