The 58-60 Judging Guide states that when the wiper knob center button is pushed, a stream of water hits the windshield, wipers go to high, then low, then park.
Does anyone have an operating system where it goes from high to low for a couple of wipes to park? Did the system ever operate that way or is it an urban Flight judging myth?
I had my wiper washer repaired by a reputable person, but when I asked him why mine wiped on high, then parked, he said that there was nothing that could be done, but I might try to adjust the small screw on the side of the pump. Adjusting the small screw only changes the number of wipes before park. It seems like since the plastic actuator passes by low on its way to park, the wiper speed would drop to low before parking. Maybe the actuator passes by low so fast that it never engages the low speed. My low speed does work. Any ideas on this?
