Four 1969 L89 Questions
I have a 69 L89 with M40 and need to know the following:
What color is the distributor hold down bolt supposed to be? I have two TR bolts one black and one zinc.
How can I identify the correct fast idle cam (plastic part) for my car?
Is the fast idle adjusted by bending the tab that contacts the fast idle cam on the carb?
What should the idle speed be in Park or Neutral when the idle in Drive is 750? When I set the idle in Drive to 750 rpm I get something like 1500rpm in park and neutral. I have the correct vacuum advance can.
