    Re: C 7 News

If you know some GM brass hat, that is one way, but I bet the last C6 will be a hot commodity. It may show up at BJ in Scottsdale auctioned off for some charity by GM, Jay Leno could get it, or maybe the NCM will get it to raffle off in one of their regular raffles. I doubt you could get it by just filing an order on Oct. 26 (last day) and hoping for luck to strike.

I posted this on another thread. Here it is again. Gen V Corvette C7 new small-block engine.

Much speculation has been been generated by the pending arrival of the fifth-generation small-block from General Motors. EngineLabs editor Mike Magda sorts through the rumors, facts and possibilities and handicaps t

I have a 2013 on order. Maybe it will be the last one or, maybe it will be like the 67, the last of an awesome era...

Oragami(or however you spell Japanese paper folding art) again. No ties at all to what we recognize as a Corvette, at least not the best ones, in M (not)HO.

+1, I agree fully, looks like some modern Caddy design gone extreme, can you say "edgy"?

the C-7 has to have aero numbers as good or better than the 458 ferrari to be able to compete on the race tracks so that will determine the shape of the corvette.

I hope that isn't the backend of the new C7!! The rear hatch area looks like the old Porsche 928 and the rear bumper and taillights....Camaro!!

I hope it doesn't look too much like the new Cadi's. I think that Chevrolet may want to put warning signs on the C7 to protect themselves from lawsuits due to the injuries that may be substained from ALL of those razor sharp, boxey edges. Come to think about it, it kind of resembles a Stealth bomber!
