    1959 Build Date

I know that the question has been asked, asked, and asked again. Based on previous posts and responses, I have attempted to find the information on the C1 Registry, but do not see any way to get to the section that would allow me to do the "search", am I missing something?

I have been out of the hobby for a while, but am jumping back in with a 59 I just picked up. Any help with squaring me away on the registry or with the build date for J59S104643 would be greatly appreciated!

Based on what information was found here and some rough math, I am ball parking February 20th, but would like to verify my guess.

    Thanks.

    Steve

      John,

Thanks so much for the response and help!

The only spot on the web page I see to move to another section to input the info is at the bottom which looks to me to be one of those paid research services, so I have not gone there. I have to be doing something wrong.

      Thanks Again.

On the upper left side of the home page of the C1 Corvette Registry is a list of links, one says "Car Birthday" just click on it, up pops a page to enter year and vin number.

          Terry,

Thanks! ---- I just tried it from a computer and not my iPad and I did get the list of links and was able to navigate, I think that was the issue. It was a little frustrating that everyone else could get there except me. Will have to look into why using the iPad made a difference. At least I know its not me --- now.

          Thanks.

            Steve,

You will find that an iPad with Safari browser doesn't do a lot of web browsing things like it should.

Chrome has an iPad browser as well as Opera Mini.

                Don,

Our Rob Musquetier wrote the iPhone/iPad Vette Birthday calculator available in the iTunes store for $.99 It used to be free, but Apple made Rob pay a very stiff developer fee even if the app was free.

Rob is also responsible for the C1 Registry website.

Rob's a great asset and devoted volunteer to our NCRS family.

Thanks for all of the great information, I will certainly try it all. Will get the registry info filled out as soon as I finish my "homework".

The problem with the registry menu buttons is due to the lack of Flash on Apple's mobile devices. One of these days I need to get rid of the menu build in Flash but I still think Apple should support it.

I need to dig into HTML5 and see what options it has to create fancy menu structures...
