1960 Glove Box Interior

Presentlythe enterior of my golve box has this rubber ribbbed material in place. What exactly should be inside the cavity? Thanks

On my 60 there is nothing "factory installed" inside the glove box. Car is a one owner, pretty original.

I concur with Thomas, nothing should be located on the bottom of the seat divider compartment on a 1960.

Okay...it must have been put there so nothing would fall through the cracks...It comes in and out quite easily...thanks...

Run a magnet down inside the two holes in the front and see what comes out. I found an assortment of nuts and bolts.
