L78 Underhood Wiring Harness Clips

Per the attached pictures, what is the correct location for the starter motor wiring harness clip that is attached to the heater core cover on the engine side firewall? The first picture was taken of a Bloomington God "Survivor" candidate back in 2008. The other picture was found on the NCRS TDB. Which one is correct or are they both wrong?

Jim, The second pic. is correct at least thats where I removed my 63 clip from. I am not sure if it was moved in later years.

According to the 65 JG page 124 both photos would not be correct for an L78.
JG states;
"C. A metal clip is attached to the lower right firewall to retain the portion of the harness serving the starter motor on air-conditioned and L78 HP cars. On small block without air-conditioned cars a "J" Clip is attached to a heater cover stud to retain the harness serving the starter motor."

OK. So the picture I took of the car at Bloomington isn't correct, I'll by that. I have an unrestored L79 w/ C60 equipped '65 and it does in fact have the "J" clip located on the lower side of the heater core cover. On my L78 car the clip is present on the lower right firewall. So this clip should hold the starter motor wiring harness AND the positive battery cable?

Jim, The battery cable positive should attach to the side of the battery shield and should have a plastic wire tie same as the wire harness ties.

I understand that there is a clip to hold the positive battery cable to the firewall on the left side just behind the battery and tray but on an L78 equipped car there is no battery shield. On the right dide of the firewall is my main concern.
