1960 Windshield Wiper Motor Hold Down Screws

Two years in a row, I was informed by a regional judge that there should only be one slot head screw on the ignition shield side of the hold down plate; the plate that has the bowden cable and the co-ordinator mounted to the plate. I believe he is confusing the plate mounted on cars without the co-ordinator, but I want to poll other C1 owners with washers. The "extra" screw is shown by the arrow.

It would help if I included the photo.

Joe, No screw in that hole on either one of my 62s.

        I agree with both judges.

It was the same judge. I believe him now and the screw has been removed.
