I too was in a local NCCC Club as well as the National NCCC Club back in the mid 70's just about the time NCRS was being formed. It took me a few more years to find NCRS.
Great people and nice cars, but my opinion of NCCC is that it is a Chapter or Local Club that is geared mostly to RACING and AUTOCROSS and with very few CAR Shows just to keep the few car show members happy. The local clubs get insurance from the National Club which makes it possible for the local clubs to race.
I rejoined again many years later..around 2009 for a year and didn't seem like anything had changed. It is still pretty much about racing Corvettes. If that is what you are into then NCCC I would think is a good fit.
