What is the combination of Heater Controls to get hot air to blow out the floor vents? When pulling out the knob on the left and turning the fan control to one of the 3 postions, you can hear the fan blowing. When pulling out the right knob to defroster, lots of hot air comes out the defroster vents. However no combination will let hot air exit down on the floor vents. What am I doing wrong? Herb

The "Air-Def-Pull" knob has two functions. When it's pushed all the way in, no outside air is admitted into the heater case. When it's pulled halfway out, outside air is admitted into the heater case (and through the heater core) and hot air is discharged through the floor outlets. As you pull the knob further from the halfway position, it opens the defroster door and progressively closes the floor outlets; when pulled all the way out, all air from the heater goes through the defroster. To run just the heater (floor outlets), pull the "Air-Def-Pull" knob only to the halfway (detent) position. This is explained on page 22 of your owner's manual.- Top

Re: 1967 Heater
Thanks John for this information. We drove the car this AM to a car show and "froze". We pulled the right knob all the way out and relied on heat coming out of the defroster. Good hot heat, but in our face instead of down on our feet. Tomorrow morning we will be going out in it again. Will try pulling it only half way out....Herb- Top
