Re: Emergency Brake adjustment
Ron,
I haven't a clue -- but if I wanted to do that on my 2008 my first step would be to look it up in the Chevrolet Service Manual. I can look it up in there for you, but I suspect my manual may not provide useful information for you. I know the service manuals are not inexpensive and will take a week or two to get, but if you intend to work on your Corvette (and IMO even if you hire out the mechanical work) they are invaluable. You may be able to find a less expensive used set of Service Manuals for your 2004 on evilbay if you are willing to look for a while.Terry- Top

Re: Emergency Brake adjustment
Guys, To adjust the E/brake shoes, you'll need to remove rear calipers and rotors, there is a star wheel adjustment on the shoes under the rotor, same as ols school brake shoes. Just turn the star wheel til you have a slight dragging of shoes against the rotor surface. If you have any light surface rust clean up with some 220 sand paper, if it the surfaces are really bad take to a autoparts store that machines rotors and have resurfaced.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: Emergency Brake adjustment
Thanks all for the reply !!!! I got it done not to bad of a job just the caliper's were really tight. Once I got them and the rotor off the adjustment was easy just like my C-2 brakes with out a self adjuster. Thanks Again
