    power steering problem 1969 L36

    My power steering wil work when first started( both right and left), then will only work when turning the wheel to the right not to the left.

    Jim, It sounds like the control valve is on the blitz. or one of the supply hoses is imploaded internally.( This is when the inner layer of the hose claspes and squeezes off the flow of fluid). the smaller dia hoses feed the fluid to the left and right.If the hoses and control valve have not been replaced in a few years I would just do both as the hose are cheap money.
