    C1 Valve Adjustment

Just had the heads done because I had 4 rocker studs walking out. Now that I have things back together what is the best way to adjust the valves (stock 230 hp) both prior to starting and after

Follow the static (engine assembly) hydraulic lifter adjustment procedure in any service manual. You adjust 8 at TDC #1, and 8 at TDC #6.

Wiggle the pushrod up and down as you tighten the nut until there is zero clearance, then turn the nut approximately 3/4 turn, but anything between about 1/2 and one turn is okay.

There is no need to readjust them after running the engine.
