    I think this is a C1 part. Is it a hood alignment part on the sides of a 56/57 Corvette?

      Robert,

      Those are used on the 1963. They mount on the surround, and mate with the plastic block that mounts on the hood. IIRC, Some cars had 2, some had 4. Then later 2, then later none. I had a late Feb car that had 4. Another one of those "63 only" parts.
