When I took apart the arm rest...there were different screws for the driver and passenger side. The driver side had 3 screws...2 were 2" long and 1 was 2 3/4" long. They are all commom head...The passenger side had 2 screws that were 1 3/4 inches and had a philips head...Can anyone tell me if the screws are all the same length...and also what head and the length..Checked CC and all of the screws are the same length..Please see the attached pic...

My '59 armrest has 2 screws at the front; the threaded portion measures 2 inches. 1 screw at the rear that measures 1-1/2. They are all slotted head.

When I look down into the door, the 2 inch fronts stick out of the threaded nut in the door by about 1/4 inch. The rear is flush with the back side of the access plate.

I just looked at the 1960 AIM and it shows 3 phillips head screws; all the same part number. I suppose 1959 could have been different, but unlikely. What does the 1959 AIM show?
