John Danos
Years ago there was a guy in Hookset New Hampshire named John Danos who specialized in big block mid year vets. I would see him at Corvettes at Carlisle and stopped at his business once. He had a neat shop and impressive Corvette inventory. Seems like he suddenly left the Corvette scene in the 90s or thereabouts. Don't know why but I was always curious as to what ever became of him. For a long time I had one of his brochures with a photo of him and several big block cars in front of his business. There is a guy In Laconia New Hampshire named John who has a Corvette business. Does anybody know if that could be The same John Danos?

About two years ago I went to visit John with a friend who bought a nice 67 roadster from him. John lives in Hampton Beach,NH or very close to there. He is retired but I think sells an occasional Corvette. -

I sold John a 66 coupe back about 25 years ago. He flew onto Newark, I picked him up, we made the deal on my 66 and he drove it home. Nice guy as I remember.Jack Corso

My 64 road race car passed through his hands. I talked to him several years ago to verify that my car was indeed the Ed Lowther car. Nice guy. We had a nice conversation and he verified it was the correct car. JerryComment

I sold John many Corvettes over the years. In fact his personal Corvette was one I sold him. I heard that sometime in the 90'S he quit selling Corvettes & went in to real estate. I am one of the guys that bought a car from John. That was August of 1989. Neat car: 67 coupe, white/red, 427/390, air cond, ps/b/w, and AUTOMATIC.
