What makes you think buying more lottery tickets will lower our taxes? It will only give politicians more of our money to waste!!!
Sounds like, to me, you're telling everybody they MUST drive their cars or, they will NOT be able to fully enjoy them. How do you know what's best for all? What's it any of your business why each person does as they see fit. Why don't you just drive your car and not concern yourself with what others do...or don't do?[/QUOTE

Mark, you're misunderstanding the words, and it seems you have no desire to have an open discussion without attacking people. I'm done.

+1, well said Roy. And after all my struggles with "other" car organizations over the last few years, I have grown to appreciate NCRS all the more for the excellence they provide hobbyists.....

Mark,

OK you and my wife feel the same about my Hilborn injection.

She is knowledgeable of Corvettes (yup for sure) and she was ready to kill me when she saw what I was doing.[
I told her"Honey" I won't drill any holes in the car so I can put it back to normal (340 HP 4 speed matching numbers++).
So, the Hilborn is comming off and going on a 57 Corvette gasser I'm building (wonderful original 283CI, 283 HP FI, 4 speed all original car...).

If your in the Louisville area this Sunday stop at The Concours at Churchhill Downs, I will have my "good" 57 FI Corvette there.

I'll say one more thing...I'm good with anything anybody wants to do with their car accept putting a Hillborn injection on a 62. Surely nobody here would do that. Other than that, I'm good.

On a serious note...I pray that one day, I have at least one car as nice as any of Steve Bramati's...just one, that's all I ask. No curing world hunger, not worried about peace around the world, just a car as nice as Steve's...that's all. Oh yeah, one more thing...as long as the appraised value is less than 12 million dollars, it'll be my daily driver.
Bruce,

Y'all have fun in Louisville. Maybe you'll see John 'The Real Deal' Ballard while your there. I'll be in Sarasota enjoying vacation with the family.

I love gassers and would love to think one day I could put together a 49 Ford version.

Bob,
Welcome to the ncrs and hang in; post 43 should not bother you and you are not ignorant for your opinon. My '61 fuelie has won in every show entered and it was one of the top 20 1961's last year at the 50th anniversaey of the 1961 at Corvettes at Carlisle. Today I drove it 47 miles on a cruise by myself as I could'nt find anyone who wanted to go...just 'cause I can. My theory is if you got 'em drive them. Go for it.
