1970 Front Bumber Bracket

Hello,

I removed the front bumper, "horseshoe" bracket from my car to reprint it. When I removed the grille brackets I found body color paint under the grille brackets. Is this just evidence of Bubba having been there before me? Does anyone know how this area was painted or have photos of this area?

The body was painted before the grille brackets were installed. So, one can expect to find body color paint under the brackets.

Thanks Joe. Would the bumper bracket have body color overspray visible, or would it be entirely semi-gloss black?

Not unless the car was one of the 120% that went through the paint refinish line -- but if you think it is one of those that opens a whole other can of worms.
