Re: Help ID C2 Wheel
That wheel appears to be later service replacement, but otherwise identical to the original 65/6 wheels. The date stamping near the valve core give it away as the 65/6 original issue wheels were not stamped there. Smooth and fill the stampings with bondo and paint over them and no one can tell the difference.

Re: Help ID C2 Wheel
As best as I can tell the wheel is stamped "K-1-7" , "1" (VALVE), "15", and "??"
K = Kelsey-Hayes
1 = Romulus, MI
7 = 1967 or 1977
1 = January
15 = 15th of the month
?? = There might be a single letter or 2-letter code (examples: "FL", "BX") which will tell you the application.
Is there a 2-letter code?
As best as I can tell the tire code is "LYUL13FC0117". I believe the "117" at the end represents the 11th week of 1977.
Back in Feb. 1980 I bought five 65-66 Corvette wheels (GM # 3869156) at my local Chev. dealer.
Stamping by valve hole:
"K 1 8", "3", (VALVE), "16" WITHOUT any 2-letter code
The wheel was made March 16, 1978.
Back about 1988 or 1989 I bought a service wheel (GM # 3838080) for my "early" 1963 Corvette SWC.
Stamping by valve hole:
"K 1 86", "1", (VALVE), "7" WITHOUT any 2-letter code
The wheel was made Jan. 7, 1986.
