Read lots of posts regarding Lubricants, Boeshield T-9, Quanta Pre-Lube 6, Gibbs Brand...went on the web and tried to order online. Tried all different web sites and because I live in Canada...shipping was not allowed. Since I live near the Detroit area, can anyone direct me to a store that sells the products mentioned . I can always take a ride and physically pick them up...Thanks.

I am not sure I would classify all those products as lubricants, but semantics aside ...
I have seen Boeshield T-9 advertised in woodworking catalogs. It is popular among woodworkers to treat iron tables like circular saws and band saws. Some of these woodworking companies have retail outlets as well as catalog operations. Searching woodworking outlets may yield results for that product.

Pre-Lube-6 is, I believe, available from Fastenal. I hope I am spelling that right. They have retail outlets for fasteners and industrial hardware around the USA.

I assUme you are asking The OP, Tom, this question, but ...

I spray the underside of my DD with PreLube 6 on an annual basis -- each Fall. That reminds me I should get going on that project. The purpose of that is to delay/reduce corrosion over the winter.

I also have applied it to the frame and chassis (by brush) of my 1970 to turn the corrosion a black hue for a better appearance during judging. That however is a different process for a different purpose than the DD.

Try Sili-Kroil. A lot of you are familiar with Aero-Kroil. It's one of the best penetrating oils. Silicon(sili) Kroil is unbelievable. Only available on line or mail order for some reason.
