maybe they should have checked the brakes on the corvette before loading.

Re: oops
Ouch! That appears to be an expensive ($15-$18k new) Trailex Sports Car Trailer. Trailex's comes with aluminum ramps that must be pulled out from under the floor and secured at the rear. I can see that the rear supports are still stowed and not lowered to prevent the trailer from tipping rearward when the trailer is disconnected.
What happened, I bet, is that they either failed to tie the car down in the trailer or they removed the tiedowns and then disconnected the trailer from the tow vehicle. If the Sting Ray's parking brake is not set (or if it is set but needs adjusting) and was left in neutral and the guy opened the rear door, the car rolled back, off the trailer. The car is "high-centered", requiring a forklift or towtruck to solve the problem. -Clark- Top

Re: oops
Wonder how they got it off the truck. I remember years ago before I had my roll back I had a trailer with long steel ramps with no grit on them. It was winter with snow on the ground. There was snow on the tire & the tires spun & slipped off the 2 ramps onto the side exhuast. Took forever to floor jack it up & put the ramps under the wheels to get it up on the trailer. As soon as I got home I bought some antiskid on the ramps. The roll back is the best if you use a open trailer.65 350 TI CONV 67 J56 435 CONV,67,390/AIR CONV,70 454/air CONV,
