    1970 TCS Question

Can somebody please help me on the placement of the TCS on a 1970?? I have what I believe to be a very original car and it did not have one but it did have the plug for one. I obtained a correct NOS unit from a friend but now I don't know exactly where it mounts to. I did read that some cars did not come with them and have a metal tube setup (which mine has). I've taken a couple of pics for viewing pleasure. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

How about like this since your photos reveal the most important information -- you have a small block? Different carburetor, but it ought to be close enough. One of the intake manifold fasteners has a stud that the mounting bracket on the TCS solenoid attaches to. Just a nut to hold it to the stud.

Refer to the 1970 Corvette AIM, UPC 6, sheet C1 or even the 1970 Camaro AIM, UPC L48, sheet A3.

Looks like you are missing the stud that the solenoid attaches too.
