    1965 Fuel Injection

I have an early 1965 fuel car #1885. Should it have any type of crankcase vent tube? My engine came back from being rebuilt with a metal plug in it where the crankcase tube would normally come out.
The motor was completely apart when I received it and I have not been successful in finding this detail about fuel injection motors. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Yes, all the FI engines used a short tube that connected into the ait cleaner adapter. There was also a valve in the system (anti backfire I believe. The sequence is aircleaner adapter, large hose, valve, large hose, tube to the top rear of the block, via and adapter that is bolted into the hole the oil separator in the intake valley attaches to. If you need a picture, PM me and I can take a picture of the connection and parts tomorrow. Too late tonite...

Jack, If you buy the large repro tube that goes to the top of the block be on the lookout for accelerator rod interference. If that is the case then you must massage the part with nice hammer.
