Re: Fan Spacer and/or Fan Clutch substitute
I wondered if you solved the overheating problem? My neighbor has a C3 390H.P. that overheated after he tried for months to solve. He said the engine ran smooth and did not use coolant. He finally tried an exhaust gas analyzer for the cooling system, where you hook it to where the radiator cap screws to, and pump air from the cooling system into a container with liquid that comes with the kit. If the liquid in the tester changes color, which his did, there is exhaust gas in the cooling system, meaning there is a head gasket leaking or a crack in a cylinder head or block. He changed head gaskets to fix the overheating.
