It's an excellent restoration. Steve and his restorer really went through the trouble to get a lot of details factory correct.

Thanks to all for the kind words. Everytime I attend one of these events, I am amazed at what a great experience it is. To me it is about the friendships made as well as the cars.

I'm a Uniroyal fan to start with and I think those skinny ol' black wall Laredos are the coolest.

                Re: Steve Bramati's Beautiful 67 435

I have had the pleasure of knowing Steve for a number of years now...and have had many many discussions with Steve about his black car. I finally got to see it in person and was part of judging it, and can honestly say that he did an outstanding job on it. One of the best I have EVER seen. The paint was unreal. Not overdone, not underdone - but juuuuusssst right. The car is to die for, and I hope he enjoys it and DRIVE IT (that was for you Steve). The restoration simply evidences Steve's knowledge base and his attention to detail. Bravo Steve, and as always it was GREAT seeing you in person again....I hope I am one of those "friends" you referred to in your post...Congrats Steve...

I have to agree with everyone, Steve's car was very well done. That car deserved the score it got and I appreciate the fact that Steve was willing to share it with us this past weekend. As those of you who were in attendance this past weekend know, Steve's car is beautiful! But what most of you don't know (including Steve) is how tight that car is at 80 MPH!!! (see photo) Once again, THANKS Steve!!

I wish I had a jet and millions of $$$ so I could enjoy all these shows. I hear there were the usual ''horror stories'' that kept everyone very busy, especially the ''engine identification department''. Your car looks great Steve.

Yes Jim that car was there with a yard of good looking hardware. It was right in the lobby and I stopped to see it and chat with the owner on my way out to the garage one day. Another great historic Corvette.

                            Yes, it was there.
Most of the rest were brought by Kevin Mackay, and either his or his clients' cars.
Oher than his new "cutaway" 65 there were none of them you haven't seen before.
