    54 body mount coushions

I can locate 7 coushions, 3 on each side and 1 on the very rear. Is there an 8th or is that it? I have 8 in the package. The front seems to be taken care of with the radiator coushion. Thanks as always folks. Also Im electing to install a ball valve at the fuel line junction for future fuel pump replacement. I know its not an original setup but easily removed if judging ever happens.

there are four on each side.
four across the firewall - toe board
two in back of the seats
two in the rear - corner of the crossmember
The tire hold down in the center is not a body mount

Guy - I think Chris gave you the answer you need but I'm wondering which cushions you're referring to since I have 4 distinctly different types of rubber cushions on my '54!

See the frame diagram below: I have one rubber disk at the rear spare tire mount bracket (type 1). I have 5 rectangular ribbed rubber cushions marked "cushion" on the diagram and glued directly to the frame (type 2). At body mount points 2-9 (all 8 locations), I have a rectangular rubber cushion glued to the inside above the fiberglass floor and a loose one below the fiberglass floor but above the steel shims in each stack (type 3). At the rear cross member points 10 & 11, I have a thick rubber cushion above and another below the fiberglass trunk floor (but above the steel shims) in each stack (type 4).

If you have 8 in the package, they're rectangular, and about 1/8" thick, I would assume these are the 8 that fit in the shim stack below the fiberglass floor but above the steel shims at points 2-9. The others must be sold separately!

The rear one in the middle of the spare tire well is a seal type - it is not a body mount- it seals the hole where the trunk board hold down bolt comes thru (supposedly)
I correct myself - there are 11 body to frame mounts -
4 in the front along the toe board
        4 behind the seats
2 at the rear frame corners
1 at the front core support - different kit
then there are rubber "cushion" - they are not body mounts - sit on the frame between the glass - support the glass
