Alan, nice pics! The sixth one down with the double doors in the background. Isn,t that a Pewter Silver '72 LS-5?? I have one very much like it. If it's not too much trouble and you have a chance, a few nice pics of that would be fantastic. Have fun for the rest of us!! Thanks.

        Hi Lynn,
I took the pictures yesterday because the cars are being judged today and I don't like to get in the judges' ways.
        Regards,
        Alan

Alan, I appreciate the response. I'd hate to be the guy that mede you do something to hinder the judgeing process. Since the color is fairly rare, only about 1300 or so, I was excited to see an LS-5 with the same color combo as mine. I've never seen one other than the one in my garage. Hope the affair went well!!

Lynn - Both of the Grey cars were Steel Cities Grey. One was a 71 and one was a 72. Pewter Silver is a unique color.

The 1970 Daytona Yellow and 1972 War Bonnet Yellow were great cars ( Bowtie Candidates) for information members would need for a correct restoration. Also what would be the odds that 3 1970 would all be built July 1970 would be in the same event.

I guess it was the lighting. Since I've owned my Pewter Silver car I've been waiting to find another in great shape. Did see two at Carlisle this year though, the only ones I've seen besides mine.

Given that production numbers ramped up in the last month of 1970 production, it is not too surprising at all.
