    1972 automatic transmission line clamps

The 1970-1972 JG on page 109 states that four tower clamps are used on the rubber hoses on the automatic transmission lines. However, after searching the archives there seems to be little discussion or information on whether they are Witteks, size, number, etc. Anyone help out here?

    Thanks,

If you've seen the small ones on a fuel line then you know what they look like.
I don't know the size offhand.

I suspect the lack of full data on them is because they are all but impossible to see as installed. I am pretty sure there is a reproduction made. Some fuel lines have the same clamps.

Thanks, Patrick. Would the fuel line and automatic transmission line be about the same size? I have four small reproduction tower clamps that appear to be stamped SG 22 but no maker. It measures about 11/16". I suspect I need a smaller clamp?

The only way to know is to try one. I may have one on Dad's car but I won't see that one for a while.
