    Correct engine ground wire position

I have seen the engine ground wire attached to two different locations. One is the aft nut, drivers side of the valve cover, and the other is the nut aft of the carb on the intake manifold. I am still looking for the correct placement and haven't found a definitive solution.

If you are talking about the ground wires to the valve covers, my 62 is like this. From the driver's seat, there is a B/W wire that comes off the wiring harness under the MC that attaches to the top valve cover screw below the gas linkage. On the pasenger side rear valve cover screw there are two wires attached. One from the radio and one from the wiper motor ground.
