What is the difference between WCFB 3500S and 3501S?

Would like to know the differences between the two Carter carbs that came with the manual transmission and powerglide versions of the 1963 327/250 base engines.

Know from reading various docs that the WCFB 3500S came with the base engine/power-glide and the 3501S came with the base engine/manual transmission. What I can't find is any information explaining what the actual difference is between the two versions of the carbs.

Anyone know?

One difference is the 3501S WCFB uses the 170-AD-588S choke and the 3500S WCFB uses the 170-AW-588S choke. I had a few 3501S WCFB's back in the 1980's but sold them after I sold my early 63 SWC (VIN # 1450). I still have a few 64-65 3697S WCFB's.

According to my notes the throttle linkage on my 3501S WCFB was stamped "114-156". My 3697S WCFB's also have the same stamping on the linkage.

As far as I know the 3500S and the 3501S WCFB's used the same top section (casting "6-1672") and the same center section (casting "0-1465" with "0-1451" stamped on the right side). The center section on the 3697S WCFB has a "0-1451" casting.
