Cracked power steering crankshaft pulley

The crankshaft add on pulley for the power steering on a77 is cracked between the mount holes. Having trouble locating one the part is 346290 AB. Also what do you think about a weld repair instead of a replacement. Thanks Ed

Try some of the Corvette salvage yards like Contemporary Corvette, Gale Gee or Vette2Vette. Let me know if you need the contacct info for these vendors.

According to my 1979 & 1982 Corvette Parts Catalogs (June 1979 & Nov. 1981) GM # 346290 (in Gr. 0.659) is a Crankshaft pulley for 75-82 Corvettes (1 groove, 6 11/16" dia.). GM # 346290 was discontinued sometime between Jan. 1982 & Aug. 1985 and replaced with GM # 14023153 as per GM Parts History. GM # 14023153 is currently available from GM for $48.25 (list price).

The P/S pulley is listed as GM # 346289 in Gr. 6.655 (1 groove, 5 23/32" O.D.) for 75-79 Corvettes and GM # 14023175 for 75-82 Corvettes. GM # 346289 was replaced with GM # 14023175 (currently $52.94 GM list).

Thanks for the info that helps in the search/ 14023153 has now also been discontinued with none in the gm data base. I have a call into contempory corvettes with both the 346290 and 14023153 part numbers. Ed
