1979 Windshield Molding Clip installation
I'll assume this applies to all 78-82's.
The windshield molding retaining clips (center) do not screw into the windshield frame like earlier years.
The clips are screwed into the frame at the ends only (2 clips at each end).
The middle clips (6) attach the upper window molding to the T-Top molding. They clip together, the clips
themselves are not screwed into the windshield frame.
Looking at the AIM, it didn't jump out at me at first.
Holes are drilled in the outer frame, but not through both pieces of metal, which made me look into this.
