54 restoration question (lots of missing parts at start)

Given what I see in the Judging Guide , one could start out with a 54 rolling chassis and body, without an engine block, and find another vette 54 block. Put it all together and be good to go for judging points? Does this seem Correct? Thanks Tony

pretty much.......
as long as it is a correct 911 block with a YG stamp - and the date code was around 30 days prior to the car being built.

The NCRS Corvette Judging Reference Manual clearly allows restoration engines. If your car is just missing the engine, as Chris said, you are OK.
