1960 Cascade Green at Carlisle

Did anyone else take notice of this car near gate 3? Absolutely stunning. I had never seen one in this color before.

It's not even close to the real 1960 Cascade Green. Obviously a creation of the person mixing the paint.

I saw it too. It did look stunning. But not a original color. Very impressed by all the Corvettes at Carlisle this year. Save the Wave.>George

The vette is pretty and shines; high gloss, etc., and not correct 1960 cascade green...

Cascade Green in 1960 was a metallic green, so this car might be correct. I can't comment as I have never seen one.
1956 and 1957 Cascade Green was a non-metallic color that I describe as "puke green".

i had an original paint hard top that was Cascade Green, very close to this color, mine looked just a bit lighter than this car, but it's hard to tell from a picture,

My buddy has had his Cascade green 60 since 1965. It still has 100% of its original paint and the car pictured above is not even close. This is what it should look like -

I also took a couple of photos of this car. It was very near the straight axle boys. The owner said he just got the car back from the painter. He selected the (PA area) painter based on the job done prior "on his Nomad".

It appears the window card in this car showed the colors from passenger cars. Is it possible (in this case) the Corvette color was a different shade? My experience tells me (mid sixties anyway) many of the passenger car colors were the same as Corvette colors.

For example, I believe 1966 Corvette Mosport Green is same as a Buick and a Chevy passenger car color. I am not suggesting that this 1960 Corvette is Mosport Green. What ever it is, I like it.
