I came across a a BUMPER JACK "BASE"(please refer to pictures), that is stamped "9D" and the name "SNIP"?. There was also a "CAUTION LABEL" that had the label/Part No. of "14013202". I believe its a "GM Jack Base, but other than that I am lost. Can anyone help me out?Thank You,John

The "SMP" (not "SNIP") company made jacks in the mid and late 1970's. The base is dated April 1979 ("9D"). GM # 14013202 is the part number for the label.

SMP stands for the manufacture - Seeburn Metal Products and they are now called Flex [N] Gate Seeburn. http://www.flex-n-gate.com/mp/cm/tottenham.html They are an OEM of jacks to many of the car manufactures today. You can also find the SMP logo on the bottom of many of the reproduction jacks for Corvettes today.- Top
