Background: all my parking lights were working but my drivers side turn signal would not flash. I discovered the blue wire was not connected to the plug on the drivers side parking light plug. I repaired that and got the driver side turn light to flash but during this repair I have lost voltage to the passenger side parking light. I have nothing on the passenger side now, no parking light no turn signal nothing. Looked over the wiring diagram and see that the purple wire from the driver side parking light appears to carry 12 volts over to the passenger side light. I have 12 volts on the drivers side but nothing on the passenger side. There are no plugs except the plug from the harness to the parking light. I don't have 12 volts at the passenger side purple wire and ground at the plug. I have racked my brain troubleshooting this. Any ideas?

Re: Passenger side parking light on 67 coupe won't work
Sounds like you may have broken a wire during the driver's side repair.
Check for continuity from driver's side to passenger's side for each of the wires, ie ground and voltage.
Then check for 12V using a ground at driver's side and so on. Here is what it should look like however the picture is from a 64 car so colors may be different. (I suspect it's a ground)Attached Files- Top

Shouldn't there be a harness clip on the upper stud of the INBOARD tail light on the passenger side? 1964 AIM, Section 12, Sheet C6.- Top
