That's awesome. Looks like the body lines on the car right now are more like a Cobra. It'll be a heck of a job to restore that car. Can't wait to see it when it is done!

Those photos were from a by-invitation unveiling at Lance's home Thursday night. The public unveiling was supposed to be at 1 PM Friday, but was cancelled at the request of the new anonymous buyer. There was a promise of a public display once the car is restored.

That is the information that was announced on the PA system at Carlisle Friday 8-24-2012

Remember Clem, this car ran only 28 laps and Kimberly lost it in the rain and rolled it into a ditch. Also the engine blew up during the accident. Race cars had a hard life, especially these three cars. This is the # 3 car at SEBRING after an axel broke

And this photo is of the #2 car after its accident at LeMans .

Same car IMHO...You can see the blue broken radio area in both cars...interesting...

Same car as on the cover of the new Restorer. Right down to the same tires and wheels, and the position of the steering wheel.
