Thanks Terry and Bill. I have an original Chevrolet Service Manual for my car. I just didn't think to look in there for it. I've just been sidetracked with another more pressing maintenance issue on the car and need to address that in an effort to get ready for Fort Worth Crusin for a Cure coming up in the next couple of weeks. I'll get back on this after that.

Points well taken here.-i just posted a related question.my 1961 corvette has aprox. 91,000 miles on od.most of which has been put on from when the corvette was new in 61 until i bought it in 1973.since 1973 i have not put 200 miles on this corvette!....all front end parts look oem.rear never out of car and rebound straps all intact as is rear sway bar.
