    54 horn pieces under button

Anybody know exactly how the stuff under the button lays in there? There is the sleeved spring and the screws are insulated. Is the plastic notched piece supposed to be on the bottom? Abd the spring and multi holed round piece, whats the order. I cant find anything to show me in what order this stuff lays in there. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks folks

Look at the 53 54 Chevy horn diagram
    It is the same

There is a specific way the center metal peice installs
    It installs with "dome" up
Dont tighten the screws down all the way or the horn will honk all the time and scare the pee out of you when you connect the battery.

Thanks for the link Chris. On an unrelated subject, mt transmission dribbles a bit at the valve body gasket. I have tightened as much as I can without snapping a bolt. I dont know if the guy who rebuilt it used any kind of sealant. Are there maybe addatives thay seal it up or an I looking at having to drain it and replace the gasket. Thanks again

drain and replace the gasket - I spray my gaskets with an adhesive vs using RTV -

Please remember to not paint the center of the steering wheel under domed center piece, that bare metal is the ground for the circuit.IMG_1037.jpg
